Works perfectly. Unfortunately, my grandmother has no power or idea how it works and how to slide even if we show it, so it's not the product's fault. It really helps my mother to continue to take care of my grandmother, makes things easier!

It would not fit in my tub. Apparently my tub was not the standard width. The seat did not span completely across the width of the tub. The water would just run gently onto the bathroom floor. Being on the second floor, it would drain water into the house below.

Very nice, no signs of stains or rust on the hardware. If you have a long term need, you can still buy this shower bench. The one I bought was gray and can be assembled on a left or right tub/shower faucet. It was pretty easy to cut a cheap plastic shower curtain to fit this shower bench.

It wasn't that easy, but it worked well for the shower. A high quality, wide head shower chair is always a must if you have a significant other who needs to shower. The width of the transition between outdoors and the shower is very important. Measure the space first.

Not suitable for small tubs or bathrooms. But the sliding function is good.
