I bought it because my doctor told me I needed it. The woman was able to get in and out of the bathtub without much difficulty. I thought it was a good product, but I didn't use it.

It was fairly easy to assemble, but not as sturdy as I expected. It was a bit wobbly the first time I used it. I weigh 175 lbs and it was hard to slide back and forth with my full weight on it. The removable round center piece cracked and came off after 3 weeks of use, putting a hole in the seat. It was cheap, but I didn't expect it to be that cheap. I hope it will hold up for 6-9 months of use without breaking.

It is estimated that the maximum weight a human can lift is 400 lbs. For a one of this size the seat belt is not enough. This is a security issue. I have contacted the seller but they do not offer any extensions or any other extensions.

My loved ones have been using this since day one and I can tell you how much easier it has made it to get my loved one in and out. My friend weighs about 90 pounds so it was a breeze to slide it back and forth. The cut outs are perfect for reaching delicate areas. It took about 5 minutes to fully assemble and no tools were needed as the pieces just clicked into place. My love is happy.

It's too big to fit in the shower, I have a smaller bench that's much easier to use.
